CA (California) Knife Laws

I have checked threads in this forum back to a year ago and still have not found anything specifically on CA knife law. I have also visted all the CA Knife Law websites I could find and most are pretty unspecific. I have read all the penal code on CA knife laws but still have some questions unanswered.

1. Are the Onion Speedlock and all other folding blades that have thumbholes or other types of features that make it possible to open with one hand considered automatic knives?

2. What is the maximium length of a fixed blade in CA? Folding blade?

One hand openers are specifically legal in CA and, as far as I know, no jurisdiction in the state has tried to classify speed-safe knives as automatics. There are no state limits on blade length; local laws may vary.
