Ca de Bou

This is my newest creation. I call it "Ca de Bou" which is an old breed of Bull Dog from the island of Mallorca that are courageous, independent and combative. The blade is made of D2. It is 0.180" at the ricasso with a 3.25" cutting edge. The OAL is 8.0". It has a tapered tang and green canvas micarta scales.



This knife was influenced by Jerry Hossom and his grinding style. Jerry has been kind enough to share some of his knife making knowledge with me, and let me use some of his design elements. Thanks Jerry!

Thanks for the comments guys. Let me add one little detail. The blade is 1.5" wide from the top of the thumbrest to the edge of the blade. Very stout. Thanks.

Love it! Really nice grinds and overall design. Fit and finish look top notch!
 
Sweet blade, loved those clean lines all over. BTW if I may ask: how did you finish that blade, this is exactly what I want to achieve in my D2 blades
