Just picked up one of these fine specimens over the weekend. I'm very proud of it. Gorgeous knife!

I saw a thread on here, I thought, where someone had successfully removed the Alaskan guide logo on the blade. It may have been the 110, but it was the Alaskan Guide none-the-less. The more I look at it, the more I think that the logo takes the "sheckshiness" down a notch or two on this blade. I think it would look better without it.

Any ideas or suggestions?

You can also use a razorblade, but be careful. Keep the raozrblade almost flat to the knife blade. Then polish with flitz or other metal polish. I have removed 2 logos this way, without any problems.
Good luck either way!

I have three of 'em (two in rubber and one in the "rosewood"). Guess you can tell I kinda like this knife. I'd remove the logo in a heartbeat if I thought it wouldn't screw up the finish on the blade. Keep us posted on how it works out for you. Maybe I'll even work up the nerve to try it myself.

It came off relatively easily. I can still see the faint remnants of it, though. I may try to get that off as well. But, all things considered, it is now a better looking knife!
