Anyone else see these sweet knives?I don't know what Cabelas is thinking with their pricing,in Canada at Cabelas its $169.99 plus taxes and shippiung, putting it at the $200 masrk,it kind of puts it out of reach for most of the people i know that are wanting to buy one of these.I canb't understand the price,as there ather models with full tang like the alpha series that are way cheaper. Its pricing like this that urns me off from buying anything at Cabelas,I bet they are more than doubling their profits on prices like that.I t sucks,i used to buy a lot of gear from them, but now i'll be buying local.

Cabelas needs to lower their prices on sdome of their gear, what was once reasonable priced clothing made in USA is now nothing more than overpriced junk.Sorry for the rant,

Wow, that is quite the price hike for a blade coating and upgrade to s30v steel. Their Alaskan Guide Vanguard is even less than it.

Let the buyer beware........or let the buyer be bamboozled.

:)

Upgrade to S30V is worth about $10. Upgrade to black blade $10. Upgrade to having a huge, garish yellow Cabela sticker on your blade..........way too much.

:D

Yeah, that coating does make cleaning blood/fat and guts off the blade super easy, not to mention the rust protection, but the money they are asking for such a small knife is crazy imho.I won't be spending any money at cabelas for a long time ,i see tons of items that they cranked up the prices on,its getting out odf hand.LOL

It's best to buy knives at Cabelas during sales events they have several time per year in the US. That little 113 does seem pricey. My favorite Cabelas AG is the Alpha Hunter Folder, currently available only at Cabelas.ca.

Looks like $139 in the states? With a discount of some sort, seems you might could get it down to the price of a Vanguard. Seems reasonable.

Yes ,its cheaper in the States, only problem is they won't ship any knife to Canada, although we only have knife laws for autos and switchblades, anything else is legal to carry at any time.

I do like the 113 and also like S30V that the AG blades are made of. However, that 113 price is what the AG mini Alpha was with Sambar Stag! I was going to pull the trigger on the AG 113 when I got this years $20 discount. But, unlike the last $20 discount I got, one had to spend a minimum of $150 for it to be active, the last discount card I got was active at $100:(. I'll wait, in a few years one will be floating in the bay or in Cabelas BB.

Same here ,not forking over that kind of cash on such a small knife,i'll wait or go without.

The thing about these overpriced knives is that sometimes very few are sold and they end up being discontinued and then after a few years the prices are even higher due to collector interest and rarity.

It's a $75 knife that may bring $200 in a few years if it gets discontinued.

Not that it will.......but it could.

Remember the AG S30V Filet Knife? It's on sale and probably on the way out.

And where's the 110AG??? Not on the website at all.

I got a 4 stag ag 110's locked in the safe,and a fifth one for a user,plus 3 rosewood models that are users.LOL..i 'm what you call a user/collector.lol

A few days ago the website said "SOLD OUT" now your right, it's not listed. I've had one on order for 3 weeks and still nothing. Maybe they are producing the 2012 stamped models now. I was told by a Manager at Cabela's that the 2011 AG 110 was made in very limited numbers.
