I received one of these for Christmas, Cabela's Alaskan Guide Series Small Vantage Folding Knife by Buck,
I normally don't rotate my edc knife, but might start carrying this one. I'm just wondering about the handle getting scratched? I always carry a small flashlight in the same pocket and wondering if the wood handle is going to get scratched up?
Although if I don't carry it, it doesn't do much good sitting in the drawer and not getting used.

View attachment 1103536 I dropped an A/G blade in a 560 Ti handle. The blade is very resistant to scratching owing to its TDLC (Tungsten Diamond Like Carbon) coating which is a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) process for applying Tungsten Carbide at 72 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C scale) onto the blade. I actually use the sides of this blade as a finishing steel for softer (than 72) micro edges.

I saw them at cabelas. You better believe the handle and the polished pieces will get scratched and worn. But they are ment to be. These are tools.
