Hi guys. Need Buck info and I have not found what I need by searching. What about the Buck General sold by Cabelas? I could not find a 120 on the Buck Website, so is the Cabela's one something special, short run? Is it true that Buck Will resharpen the knife?

I ordered the knife already, not due in until the 31st.

Thanks if you can help.

Yes, the 120 is a Cabela's exclusive. They bought the rights to be the only one selling it.
Yes, Buck will resharpen it for free for life.Enjoy it.DM

Well, great. Not that I cannot sharpen a knife, but what the hey. I look forward to getting it.

Well this is not exactly a fact. Buck will make the 120 as a special order item for their customers. The Pro-line series a Cableas only line. However, there is currently one other dealer who is selling the 120 model and it dose not have black etching on the blade.

I have several older 120's and I have the cableas Pro-Line 120 and they are excellent knives, They hold true to quality with the older knives.......

No kidding John...
Is that for regular guys or for retailers that order 50 or so?

Hey TomOHawk...

There's a place where you can buy knives online that has a 120 General and a 120BR General (top knife in pic). Think that JB is referencing the same place. ??

Was going to PM you but you don't have PM :(

I've always wanted a 120 and have almost bought a Cabelas 120 many times.
Hmmm can you maybe give us a word that rhymes with the other retailers name?
:D

My 120BR keeps it's edge far better than my plain Jane 120, a 'Pro-Line' from Cabela's. Of course, I use the 120... the 120BR sits on a stand!
