Cabelas Stag Alaskan Guide 110 really gone?

I did a search of the # JTX-51-7447, Stag Alaskan Guide 110 - $155, on Cabela's site. It states 'no longer available.' - not 'OOS', etc. I guess I 'snoozed and loosed'! I had those $20 off coupons begging to be used, too. Oh well! Any info on this knive's future would be welcomed.

Now to Bass Pro - I got a $50 card for them from my son. Sadly, I already bought their BP 110. I really don't see much there - maybe the cherrywood 102 - $60. I only have one 102BR - and it joined the 103, 105, 119, & 120, all BRs, in a display stand. I have black phenolic handled user 119 & 120 - but only 'display' 102, 103, & 105. They are out of BR versions, too - have a few bone and Cherrywood versions - maybe a trip to the local store is warranted.

With both mail order stores low or out of stock in some items, one has to wonder if the buying Season really was all that bad.

When I purchased mine more than a year ago it was listed as a limited edition. I thought the number of the run was 1,000. I kept waiting for them to run out. I guess they just did. :thumbdn::( The good news is that there will be more limited run versions in the future and I'm sure there will be AG stag 110's on ebay.

Stainz, did you get a 110 White Smooth Bone from BP yet??? They have a 119, 105 and a 102... Have a look at my 110... I want to get the 102 next...

That Cabela's stag-handled model was truly a beautiful knife. :thumbup:

I wish I would've opted for that instead of the rosewood handled variant...sometimes my "financially responsible" mind gets the better of me!

They are real nice knives I have them all, but don't use them they are better for display. With use comes cracked handles...some thing about the white bone handles they are brittel....just my two cents....

I would be willing to bet that if you stopped in your local store they could track one down for you. None are left online, but I dont think that means that an individual store may not have one layin' around :D

Although for them to find it may be another story, huh JB :D

LOL...Jimbo that is a fact!!! Although, I have never been inside a bona fide Cabelas store yet.

I'm on vacation this week and am going to take the kids on a snow trip. Where we will stop to play in the snow the new Cableas store will be a 30 minute drive;). I'll check to see if they have a AG Stag 110 in stock for you. I hope they have the new D guard bowie to fondle.

Yes, I would call all the stores to see if they have one in stock. The phone numbers should be in the catalog. They often have some in the drawers or on display. Further, they may have one marked down in the area where they sell discontinued items. FYI.
 
The stag AG 110 was suppose to be limited to 500 according to the cataloge. I picked up 2 when they first came out.Actually I picked up one and my wife picked up one for me.
 
The rosewood handled ones are still available, and sending one of those off to Leroy will still get you a stag handled one at about the same price!!
 
:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: I got mine in the mail yesterday, and it is BEAUTIFUL! I'll get some photos as soon as I get time and post them here.
 
I was just at the Cabelas outside of Kansas City and they had at least 2 Stag AG110s still in stock and they had the distressed brown sheaths with them.
