Does anyone have a picture of the Cabella Griptillian (Benchmade 551) with the grip (scale) removed on one side showing the frame and axis lock?

I have T.Erdelyi's excellent posts and pictures for the models with the full liner frame. But the Cabella model does not have a full frame, and it is embedded down inside the grip.
Seems like I saw a picture of this once but don't remember where it is. I have had no luck searching for it.

(I'm too chicken to remove the grip myself. Maybe someone has.)

Thanks,
og

I'm not familiar with the differences that you mentioned, but Sergiusz Mitin posted some axis lock pictures in this thread.

Hope this helps.

tarsier,
thank you so much. What a pleasant surprise. I had given up ever finding the picture. That's it exactly and shows the inner frame is different than a Benchmade 710, for instance. The standard frame is a full liner, much the same design, but it fills the entire inside of the grip, and there is a plastic piece between the two halves of the frame near the back. In the griptillian the frame is somewhat minimized with an added pin holding the two halves together near the back. This makes the design lighter in weight with the frame concealed completely between the two grips (scales).

Here's T. Erdelyi's thread showing the full size frame. You have to scroll down to his picture 4a.jpg to see the first stage of disassembly showing the frame design and how it differs from the griptillian frame shown in the url you posted. Very interesting, to me anyway.

Again, thanks a million.
