Cabin Fever!

Its just the end of July and I have Cabin Fever. Its been too darn hot to fire up the forge and I'm about to go crazy. I'm located in Missouri and we have had triple digit heat for over a month. Cant mow, all the grass is gone...fish aint bitting....to hot to scout for deer..tried doing some practice with the bow and my hands were so sweaty I could hardly pull the arrows from the target!!!. I'm sick of cruising craigslist and now the leaves are starting to fall off the trees. Heck I think the tires on my truck are wearing out faster driving on the hot roads. Oh well just blowing off some steam.

I feel your pain brother! Down here we are air condition prisoners until around 7:30pm when it cools downs into the 80's or so. It is crazy hot. When I go in to work on something in the shop I cant see much cause my safety classed are soaked with sweat. We are used to it though, you guys are probably not so I feel even more for you. Hang tuff, a few more months to go!

I had a friend who lived in AZ. He used to go to bed not long after he got home from work, and get up at 3AM to get about 4 hours shop time in. A quick shower and he was ready to head for work at 8AM.
