I have access to some cable. It has a hemp center. From what I've read it is not the best material start with. I am looking for someone to use my cable to make some billets for me. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. thanks, Marty

Find cable without hemp in it. its a pain to unwind and remove it.

Here in the famous New Bedford Ma. They use the cable on the fishing boats and can buy end pieces off the reels from the supply houses. Are you close to any fishing ports?????
