Here is a little knife I made from a piece of cable that I got from Darren Ellis at the Blade Show last month.

OAL 8 3/4"
Tip to Guard 4 3/4"
Stainless Guard and Pin
Dyed Box Elder Burl Handle

Just out of curiosity, what diameter cable did you use? I can only seem to find small stuff 'round these parts....(like 1/2")

This started out as a piece of 1 inch cable. I got the cable at the Blade Show in Atlanta from Darren Ellis. He has larger diameter also (wish I had got a little larger).
