cable knife

This is my 1st attempt at a cable knife. The knife was made from post-tension cable from the foxwoods casino where I've been building a new tower.. The knife isn't done still needs more grinding, heat treating and etching..I tested a piece before I made the blade and it hardened in oil and shattered like glass when I hit it on the anvil..:thumbup:

Looks like a good start,I like the drop in the handle. Is that the full rope or a strand?
