Cable Kwaiken with active Hamon

hey!
dont have any real spesifics right now... just posting pics.. i havent finished polishing the handle.... but the blade turned out good. the blade was forged from 1" cable i got from Darren Ellis.

the balance point is a little forward of the habaki. so it has some "omph" to it wihtout being a heavy blade. i am going to put on a brass butt plate. but it feels really good. the steel has a nice spring temper to it... and it is a straight razor.
gonna post more pics once the handle is done

I'd love to see a tutorial on how you do those habaki.

OAL 14"
blade length: 8 1/2"
blade steel cable damascus with clay temper line
between 1/8" and 3/16" thick
copper habaki
brass seppa, spacer, and pin
black linnin micarta "tsuba"
grenedillo handle

Hey Chris I have never really suggested to anyone what to do or how to do it . But your talent is exceptional well for your age. And I wonder have you ever considered swords ? You my friend have the talent for such a young age to be a top maker. Blessings in all your ventures !
