These are my two latest knives, I hope you like them!

Cable Damascus and Rope Clip Point
Cable damascus (1085)
9 1/2" overall length, 4 3/4" blade, with a 4" cutting edge. 5/16" thickness.
Epoxyed rope for handle. Guard in mokume (nickel silver and copper) guard with cable pins.
Mokume (nickel silver and copper) lanyard bead. Hand made leather sheath.

Integral San Mai Damascus / Stag EDC Knife
San Mai damascus in 1010/1070 with a 5160 core.
3 3/4" cutting edge - 8 1/4" overall length. 4 1/2" from tip to end of integral bolster.
Stag handle with micarta spacers and cable butt decoration.
Heavy duty, hand made leather sheath.

Your cable damascus is right off the charts!! One of the nicest knives I have ever seen!!!

I love the mokume and everything about the integral. That is some serious skill to get that to come out right. Nice work.

First let me say that the cable damascus knife is amazing. I have never seen anything like it before. Second, I'm a brand brand new knife maker and still learning so I would like to ask a question and I hope I don't get tore up too bad for missing something obvious. Does the cable part at the spine where it isn't fully welded weaken the blade? Or was it not really meant to be used? Again forgive me for being niave but seeing stuff like this what drives me to want to become a knife maker and I just want to find out everything I can about it.
