cabs handle question

I noticed that the handle of my cabs is looking worn and a lighter color than the material at the spine since i've washed it. Can anyone tell me how to care for this handle and keep it dark?

Just throw your choice of oil on the scales and they will be nice and dark again. I like mineral oil or good ole WD-40. I've used CLP in the past too. Water and especially soap dries out black paper but usually oil from your hand keeps it nice and dark too.

I got that too- it's just hard water staining.

if you fondle it it'll glow again.

natural skin oils will brighten it right up.
