CABSLE - use or sell?

My Busse collection consists of one knife (CABSLE #98) and I'm on the verge of selling it. The only reason I'm so tempted to part with it is because a part of me cringes whenever I use it, so I've only given it a small amount of love (this is only semi-true: I play with it a lot, but I rarely cut anything with it).

So, should I sell it and buy a knife I can bruise without fear or turn it into a workhorse?
 
You should definitely sell it.
Coincidentally I'm in dire new of one.

Seriously though, it's a great knife and Rob is right. Beat it up.
 
I think you guys are right. I can already sense the regret I'd feel if I got rid of it. I might still change my mind but I'll put some miles on it first.

it may hurt to use it (a few times), but it's such a great knife that it would hurt even more to get rid of
 
The first thing I do when I get a new piece of INFI is pull a thirty second nutty on it and break it in.
Then I will have to keep it or I'll take a loss. It works for me.
Once you break the ice and get a few battle scars on her you will be glad you decided to keep it.
At that point you should be looking for more INFI. Always more INFI.

Great way to go about it.
I try to get pics while it's minty and as soon as the snap is compltet, smash it through some wood!!!
I LOVE to beat some INFI!!!! ESPECIALLY if it's rare or grail worthy!!
 
Use it. The only knives I ever regretted selling were the ones I never got around to using.
 
go get it dirty and you won't be sorry. INFI begs to be used and abused!!!!

If you're really worried about it, give it to me so that I can have two to use.:p:D


ETA: Y'know, you don't have to use a sweet knife outside to enjoy it.;) And speaking of enjoying something sweet...

I have a CABS also, that I have not been able to bring myself to use although, I have thought about it many times. It's just soooo darn good looking! I may use it someday, but for now...... it's a Queen, and have my awesome Basic 4, for any task I might need the CABS for. It's probably a good idea to bash em when you first get them or, you may never use them. I usually make that call if I know for certain, it's something I want to keep. If I am not sure it meet's my need's, I will keep it new and sell later for something else that comes along. I have a couple other's right now, that I am just not sure about however, the CABS is not one of them :)
 
Just use it. Trust me, it is meant to be used and enjoyed.

I started my Infi out with a FBMLE, which I made a user, and since then, have not looked back.

The only I would not make it a true user is if I did not like the shape or feel of the handle. If it was not a good fit for me, then I would move it on and get one that fit me better.

If you like the feel, go ahead and use the sucker.
 
Do you remember your first girlfriend? Your first Busse and Kin are just like that, just better! You will always remember your CABSLE, and if you part with it you'll always regret doing so...
