WEll, sort of. We were to have a Tenebrae service and found that in the heat, here, the candles had melted into one big candle. I could not break them apart with my fingers without breaking the candles. So, I popped out my handy Alox Cadet (red) and opened the large screwdriver. I used that to wedge in between the candles and after a bit of coaxing, they popped apart one by one. The service was saved thanks to the Cadet. (now where is that lighter...)

I am glad to learn that Holy Week was saved. I wonder if the Vatican issues a SAK to its Swiss Guards?

That Cadet is so slim it is unobtrusive. Perfect for church carry. The Swiss guards probably carry the new issue knife (forgotten the name). The Cardinals probably get the red Cadet and the Pope gets a white Fisherman. :D

:D

BTW, new issue knife? What's wrong with the Classic?

As it turns out, I was roped into helping set up a (sort of lame, Protestant variation) of the stations of the Cross for Holy Week. One of the tables needed to be reconfigured and the situation was "saved" with the help of my Leatherman Blast, which is fully sanctified in good Nazarene fashion. Not me but the Blast.

Wouldn't a BK-2 have worked better? :D For me, no.

I fully expect the Swiss Guards of carrying SAKs. The Pope must be protected.

Well, the Nazarenes need such gizmos to see that Holy Week comes off well, too. I love to carry my Spydercos. But the most practical knives I have are SAKs. I try to keep at least one of some variety in my pocket at all times no matter what other knife I might have. A Leatherman I have gotten a lot of use out of is a squirt. It is now too ugly to carry from being carried and used for so long. It is a bit heavy, too. So I traded it out for a SAK Classic SD. But, the Squirt still has the better blade, if you sharpen off that useless chisel grind.
