Here is a cake knife I've been working on for my nieces wedding, the server is still being made. It's 5160, 13 1/2" long, Zebra wood, Purple heart and Pinkwood.

Very nice!! Mind if I borrow it for my wedding this Saturday? :D

I know it's a gift they will treasure for a lifetime.

Hey yeah, can you test it for me? By the way, those groomsmen knives you made are great. You have some lucky friends! Congratulations too!

Beile, cool cake knife but what is the deal with the knife next to your member name in this post? Very interesting.

Thanks. I was just playing around and made a little knife with ball for a handle instead of a conventional one, the ball fits in the palm and your index finger goes through the hole in the blade. It's a short knife but held in the hand very securely unlike some small knives that you can't fit in your hand and are hard to hold. Or, heck, I don't know, I was just foolin' around.:D

It's made of 3/16" 5160 and measures 5" X 2" at the widest point, blade is 2 5/8".
