Man I am excited. I ordered an El Paton GBF from Jeremy Robertson (Calavera Cutlery) yesterday and time is now standing still. He stonewashed the TI slabs and looks really nice. I will post pics when it arrives.
Happy Fathers day to me!!!!

I received this knife in 3 days from Jeremy. I was offered stonewash or beadblast on the handle and I choose stonewash. Looks fantastic. Blade is 2.95 inches of convex D2. Really sharp. I am not sure of the weight but it is really light. Lock up is super tight. Opening and closing is smooth, not quite sebenza smooth, but close. It was virtually broken in when it arrived. Bottom line - I would buy this knife again

I've been really interested in one of these. I heard he is an awesome guy. And great to deal with. I think these knives will start to take off soon. Word of mouth needs to get around more. Awesome pick up! Let us know how it does as an EDC. How is the detent closing?

I was gonna get one, but i got another hinderer instead. He does make a very nice knife, i just don't like d2 for some reason.

Detent works for me, not real tight. I cut some 1/4 " rope this weekend and it went through it with very little effort. No back and forth motion needed at all.

I sent Jeremy a question today. I wonder how the warranty is.

Either way I think it has everything needed to be a good knife.

Good looking knife.

What is the closed length?

I'm not familiar with the name. What are the details? Is this a knifemaker, someone who hand fits from parts, cnc?

My thanks.

not sure on closed length...he took this knife off his website for some reason. I don't think I can post his link due to forum rules but CalaveraCutlery should get you there. He builds them all individually.

I will tell you this...the knife in the picture developed vertical blade play...he built me a brand new knife, paid shipping both ways. The cause was due to the lock bar cut out. The new one had less cut out of the lock bar and is stiffer. So warranty can't be better.

Nice knife! I talked with Jeremy a couple times at the California Custom Knife Show a couple weeks ago. He's a really nice guy, and all of his knives are great. I got the impression that he wouldn't let any knife go out of his shop if it wasn't perfect.
