I just received my latest El Patron 3.25" from Jeremy Robertson. I wanted to go with something different on this, so I decided to see if Jeremy would do a wharncliffe style blade in his 3.25" pattern (I already have a 3.25" SM100 Patron that I love). I also wanted to do something dressy and incorporate some of Chad Nichols' moku-Ti material into the handles. What Jeremy came up with blew me away! Here is the S90v blade steel, Nichols' moku-Ti presentation side with carbon fiber lower scale Wharncliffe El Patron 3.25". Jeremy even went with a Emerson/Steel Flame compatible 3-hole screw attachment pattern to allow me to still use my Steel Flame clips with this knife. And the moku-Ti backspacer was a very nice surprise when I actually got it in hand. I didn't even know Jeremy was adding that.
As I said in the other thread, Jeremy has quickly become one of, if not my favorite maker to work with. It's amazing to be able to see in each of the now 3 Patrons I've owned how his craftsmanship and techniques continue to be refined. They just keep getting better and better!
