California question....

Sportsman's Guide takes a very conservative position when it comes to items- if one city has a problem with it,it's off limits to the entire county and sometimes the state:eek: They are rightfully afraid of getting a civil case brought against them. A while back, the Mass. Atty. General got thousands out of SG for not properly checking ammo buyer credentials. After they developed a plan to ensure compliance, SG lawyers told them to simply not sell to MA anymore to prevent a repeat incident. A similar incident happened with BUDK in NY a couple years ago.

I feel for you. For a little while, they refuse to ship any knives to Connecticut:grumpy: I simply looked elsewhere, and had a 3rd party out of state help me out, since the knives were legal.

There would be no criminal issues with the shipping of that knife anywhere into CA.

They are being overly cautious.
