Hey Gary, I just got an email saying that CB #__ is comin. This is obviuosly yours.I hope he got my shipping address too:D, Im #24. Its a great looking knife. I dont know how to uplaod a pic though, so I need an email address of someone who does. Now Im unbelievably excited about mine.:D
 
Second thought, its from Gary so im not sure what happened. Either I got Garys email or I just made an idiot out of myself.:( Live and learn. Still excited about mine though.
 
I think Mr. Mauro sends out notices to people of consecutive numbers.. not to diss either but out of courtesy do not link serial numbers to names to Dobs' that havent arrived in our shores yet. :)

A lovely pair, stag inserts with Titanium handles on the Dobruski and sitting next to it is the slightly longer handles but almost the same blade length is the BM43. The Dobruski is very well made, fit and finish one of the best I've seen, blade is ground very nicely! The blade looks dark because of the scanner, it's a mirror polish blade and also the edge is ground down to a good thickness that allows it to really slice/cut well, I was happy!

so it arrived safely??!?! MOST EXCELLENT. I think Dobruski's fit and finsh.. esp the handle alignment is MONSTROUSLY precise.. maybe even TOO precise.. only time will tell :)

and considering how you are picky about your edge thickness G2 I am surprised you didnt have anythign to whine about ;)

congrats.. a nice piece..

I am certainly most picky on edge thickness and this pleased me greatly, cuts well!

If I had a point to talk about, the one handle is stiff, the safe handle and blade are really liking each other these days and that has already made two light slices in my right hand pinky, no blood...just some marks to know it wasn't going right!

I emailed and asked about it, as I tried to loosen the screw to no avail, the edge side is perfect in it's freedom, the other, is the slow dim witted red headed step child of the balisongdom world, I was told to keep working it and apply some tuff glide, didn't have any of that, none around here, but I do have some WhiteLightening and it's still a slow poke...no pun intended...;)

The stag is nice, dovetailed finish is excellent, all the finish is GREAT, really couldn't ask any better!!! Two bloody thumbs up :)...:eek:

Dobruski is VERY precise in his tolerances very inhuman.. looks liek this is ultra precise though :p

Precision is key with him I think! The knife is starting to free up on that one side and opening smoother, still a beautiful knife!!!

I know that the wait time now has grown, but I'm tempted to order another with different scales and a different blade shape....wharncliffish perhaps! YES by gum I think I'll do just that!

Hey, just to let you all know I have decided to get in on a Dobruski, I beat tonyccw on the list so when I get mine his will be right behind. :D
 
My brother has a nice digital camera and we took a shot of the Dobruski today, you can see the lovely curves of the blade as he ground them perfectly!
