But hell I bought a new fixed blade on the fly because I like how it felt in my hands. Who can tell me who made this one?

I believe Anza's are made out in the Southwest somewhere or another (could be dead wrong on that account-wouldn't be the first or last time), and ground from steel files. Then wood is epoxied on as the handle. Usually, you won't see them with any type of pins afixing the handles to the blade. Should be a darn fine user blade.

Yes looking closely I see a very light etch showing ANZA USA 02, I like this knife a lot, it holds an edge well while carving the hell out of wood. That's why I like it so much in my hands, I have a lot of years of file work experance, it just felt like it found it's home in my hands, and it did. Looking at the site it seems this is the 105 model, man they have the kind of fix blades I like, real workers that can take it hard.

I've heard of Anzas and always thought it would be cool to own one. Good pick there, I'm sure it will serve you well.

I've been looking for the right fix blade for me for sometime, but I wanted to hold it first to make sure. This 105 NIZA is just so well made, and hand made at that, I have never felt a knife was more made for my hands then this one. It's like I found an old good friend.

Well I love my new ANZA 105 but, the sheath just needed some modification for my specifications.

It's a thing of joy when that happens. I've had that happen once and a couple of close seconds. Same knife, just different blade thicknesses. Does a lot of belt time.

BTW, nice knife. ANZA's are cool.
