While most of the country is frozen over, it seems like CA is in the summer months! The temperatures were a high of 70F and the overnight low was 46F, zero chance of rain.

Always a good time with Mudman and Adam.

Creeper shot of the master creeper!

We made camp and then fire! I am trying out a new product called Lightning Strike!

I really needed a spatula for the morning. Who better to ask than Mudman?

After camp and fire…FOOD!

We had mashed potatoes, spam kabobs, baked beans, broccoli, and a big steak!

Mud was still working on my spatula.

The camp was too civilized for me so I resorted to a rock plate

The Frontier Hawk was my main cutting tool. It was used for just about everything I needed from food prep to fire.

We treated our good friend Adam to some Ephedra tea. I think he took it well!

Breakfast was…BIG!

Cooked all the bacon, chorizo, flour tortillas, and waffles on the rock.

Burritos

Russian smeat! If anyone knows what this stuff is, please chime in.

Tel me this doesn’t look like a chocolate chip cookie!

Only the best pine cones for scrubbing pots

Good times!

Gives us that are locked in negative temps something to dream about!

Bearthedog, you certainly get around. I enjoy your pictures and sharing the different parts of the country that you visit.
