Found this guy in the bottom of a rubber made bucket I had filled with water for my waterstone (required knife content). Anyways, about 9/16" from front to butt roughly an inch wide the way pictured.

On a related note I have 3 bites from something that look a bit worse than mosquito bites. 2 on my left pointer and 1 on my left middle.

I'm no biologist, but I'm pretty sure that's a spider. ;)

In-focus pictures would really aid in identification.

If it was a brown recluse you'd have a problem . A friend was recently bitten by one and the venom destroys tissue so he had the dead tissue removed and will have at least a month of healing to go ! Buy a spider book and do a search and photo IN focus !

Waiting for the digital camera battery to charge. Not much better than the iPhone but hopefully better focus and light.

Don't worry the bites I got aren't from this spider, if from a spider at all. This one was dead a couple of days before I got the bites on my hand yesterday.

Does a severly abused CRK Professional Soldier, a blahtastic old BM D2 can't remember the model number, and an SnG DGG sound that good to you?

Knife talk...a no-no in Community.

There's a spider in the bucket,
Dear Liza, dear Liza,
There's a spider in the bucket,
Dear Liza, a spider.

I do believe the spider is in the Gnaphosid family but I don't know the species.

With what shall I kill it,
Dear Liza, dear Liza,
With what shall I kill it,
Dear Liza, with what?
