Bear Cub Hack LE: blade-2.6"; overall 5.5"; thickness: 09";
weight 1.4 oz.

Thanks guys so is the hack is own model or is the hack just the aprantice version of another model. Ex the GW and or the BC.

It is actually the HACK Bear Cub.

all its own model.

HACK sometimes refers to a large finger choil in lieu of the talon hole placement (HACK GW, HACK AD). But I believe that regardless of what knife the term is being used to identify, it is always indicative of an apprentice' grind. Some one correct me if I'm wrong.

Here's the "Whole Story" as told to us by the Bossman when he was ready to release the Bear Cub... :)

"HACK" stands for "HOG Apprentice Custom Knives". . . . Yes, it's the return of the Busse apprentice series. . . . There should be quite a few different "One-Time-Only" models offered and not all of them will be made of INFI. . . This particular model is INFI however.

I designed this knife for my daughter Katie . . . Once I finished it, everyone in the shop wanted one, So, here it is for everyone to have a shot at. We call it the Bear Cub. . .

The HACK series of knives has been designed for training our apprentice custom knife grinding team. The prices of these will not reflect their true custom nature. :thumbup: . . . In other words. . . you should be pleasantly surpised by the affordable pricing!!

The Serial Numbered Limited Edition will feature the fossilized mammoth ivory handles. . . .These will be very limited as we have a very limited supply of this rare handle material! ! ! !

Here are the pics!!

Oh, and here's the biggest surprise of all. . . This the HACK Bear Cub next to a Game Warden!!!!. . . .

The HACK Bear Cub has an overall length of 5 1/2" ! ! ! !. . . . It is an unbelievably handy little knife!!!

These are going up after the NMFBM. . . In other words. . . .Very soon!!!!

Is the Hack the smallest? What about the 3 finger?

I just checked :foot: :rolleyes:, they're almost identical in size.

the Bear Cub HACK could almost be a reintroduction of the Three Finger, the handle on the TF is bigger around but they're real close.
