Im on a quest for the perfect tank. I have tried all the tanks at my local vape shop and the best I've found was the basic kanger evod tank. It works fine and despite being heavly cracked on the inside i have yet to have the thing leak on me. All that i would changed about it is i would prefer pyrex over plastic. I have tried both the mini and full sized protank 2's. the full sized hits only when it wants to and the mini dose not at all and after watching my roomate go through 4 of them before he stopped having problems I am very hesitant to give them another chance. All im really looking for is a bottom fed tank with a pyrex body thats simple and reliable and simmilar to my kanger evod. so what do you guys think? is my perfect tank out there?

The biggest improvement you can do to the Mini Protank 2 is remove the little rubber gasket off the replaceable head. Turn it over, and put it back on.

I sometimes have to flip the gasket on my protanks too. Depends on who makes the replacement coils I get from different places. I'm using a Hypertank right now and I have to say it's not a bad tank. Has an airy draw but you can adjust that if the center pin on your device is adjustable. My all time favorite tank would have to be Anyvape's Mini Davide. I get more flavor and vapor out of that tank than any I've tried. Good luck finding what's right for you. Its an adventure!

I have a pro tank II and a mini pro tank II, but I have a puritank glassomiser that I like best. It gives me the mist consistent hits an has never leaked

Just a note from experience. Always make sure your vendors are selling coils made by KangerTech. I find they just work better. No leaking, gurgling, they last longer and are just better. Funny thing is they cost the same. That's my personal experience anyway.

Edit: I should have mentioned I only use the single bottom coils and have no experience with others.

Try an Innokin iclear 30 or 16. For an inexpensive clearomizer these have preformed the best for me. I have several protanks and rebuild the coils all the time. Only problem with the iclears is that they aren't rebuildable so you have to buy new coils every so often. Anyway they produce a consistent warm vape and I have yet to have one of my 8 leak. They are dual coil top coil clearos. With that being said I recently bought the newest iclear 30B and would not recommend it. Flavor, drawl and construction blew me away when I first got it but a few hours into vaping it and the leaks started. Tried everything in the book to prevent it with no luck. Either a faulty device or innokin failed miserably on this one. Any who pick up a 30 or 16 you love them.
