I'd like to ask all sheath makers to post some pictures of their sheath sollutions for Battle Pappy knife, if they have some.

My personal opinion is that this knife would look and carry great in leather sheath but I don't want to discriminate anybody, so I would be grateful if kydex sheath makers would show their work as well.

I saw that Chuddy Bear already has Battle Pappy option in his price list, but I couldn't find related picture in his huge photobucket account and I haven't seen any sheath picture even here on forums so Chuddy could You please post some pix here ?

The more the better !

Thanks in advance !

WoW !

Very cool work David !

Modern bowie requires modern sheath material.

Very nice sheath solution

Battle Pappy was out of the reach of this poor leather cobbler, way out of reach. :o

Someday perhaps....

Gonna need something different than the same old to suit this one. She's too young to be an old sole

I would source someone who could do a leather hide overlaid and stitched with buckskin which had been bead patterned like the old style Indian sheaths and tassled like the Mountain Men used to do to enable the water to run down and drip off easier ... like the old style Buckskin Shirts .... just use a metal stud to carry it tucked into the belt .... "old style" look to match the coffin handle shape ....

I Like your thinking Peter!

That sounds like a wonderful sheath, I'm going to have to try that on my forged bowie. :)

Thank you for the inspiration!

I am working on two sheaths for the Pappy right now. They wont be done for a couple days. I will post a couple pics then.
