I've seen some great cord wrap lanyards, brackets, slings, etc on here and would love to be able to do something like that myself. where is a good how to source? So far I can make a knot and that's about the extent of my skills so id love to start making some of those crazy creative lanyards for my blades not just a loop and a knot. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a good way to become even a beginner? All the how tos I've found so far are very intimidating and seem as if you need to be a pro to attempt such a thing

khww.net (Knot Heads World Wide) has a lot of tutorials, and animatedknots.com has a bunch as well. Even some of the really complicated looking knots are really pretty simple when you see how they are done.

I would also suggest following Paracordist's posts here as well as his youtube Channel. I've learned a lot from his videos and posts here on BF.
Also there's Stormdrane's blog (http://stormdrane.blogspot.com/) its a wealth of information and great knots! Learned to make my first bracelet from there :)

Thanks I will check these places out. Hopefully will be posting my pics of my own work soon.

Thanks Marton! I do have a comprehensive 4-part tutorial on my favorite wrap - the turks head. If you give it an honest effort, you can learn it! Turks is my favorite because it looks great, and can be made very tight so as to never slip, or unravel on its own.

Paracordist what is the title of that video so I can check it out?

i have a Becker Necker and have thought about wrapping it. i honestly do not know where to start with that. no idea what knot to use to start and etc.. anyone with some tips? anything would be grateful.

Hung I had the same issue with my necker. I googled ALOT of pics of other wraps people did and just followed the path of the cord on the pics and attempted them myself. It took a few tries but I got a cool wrap done (would post pics but I traded it sometime ago) to secure I just made a simple loop and pass through type knot at the beginning and end of the wrap
