Calling Blind Horse Knives

I would like to get some opinions

I ordered a BHK bushcrafter a few weeks ago (3 1/2 - 4 weeks )

When I ordered LT told me the blades were going out for heat treat now I am not worried or anxious it's just I want to call for a status update

Would that seem like a sh*tty thing to do?
 
No, or you could just E-Mail them. L.T. responds to E-Mails the next day and you wont have to bug him while he is in the shop.
 
I know but I feel like a little kid waiting for Xmas/birthday/Halloween/4th of July all combined
 
For anyone else looking for a Bushcrafter, Dale Stoops at TKC has a few in stock, in Scandi and regular grinds, and a variety of handle materials. ;)

I'm in the same canoe. Can't wait to get it. They told me last week that it could be up to thirty days but maybe sooner. It's good to hear they are worth the wait.

I hear ya and feel your pain. I ordered a pair of Bushcrafters awhile back. It's hard waiting on knives but I can tell you it will be worth the wait. I have 4 BHK's right now and could not be happier with them. I already have an older Bushcrafter and it is an excellent blade. LT and Dan are good folks. Breathe..... :D
 
Yeah man, I need to lay off the Internet in general cause I always end up coming on here and reading about knives which gets me thinking about my bushcrafter


I know there cool guys from watching there YouTube vids and I kinda feel like a d*ck when I get like this so I will take a leave of absence staring Monday
 
So which one did you get? I have the baby and full size in polished natural micarta coming. It really is a great knife. I just bought a Spyderco Bushcraft and as much as I hate to admit it (I love my Spyderco's) I like the BHK better.
 
I got a full size bushcrafter with red spacers , I was lucky enough to find out that everything else I wanted was standard on the knife. The fisheye pins and dark green polished micarta scales

Along with a fire steel and can of balistol

I almost got the green one myself but I had just bought a long trail so I wanted to try something different. The fisheye bolts are awesome looking. I like those a lot. You really are going to be happy with the knife. It's built like a brick. Here are a couple to tide you over. :)

Thanks to me buying a bushcrafter

I think I might buy the long compass lanyard from the bhkoutdoors site and attach it to my sheath
