My Gerber 800 has served its time and its now time to upgrade.

The Leatherman website talks of a large bit driver, small bit driver and large screwdriver on the Ti.

The combination I use most on my Gerber 800 is the large and medium screwdrivers (not the really small one) as well as the philips. Does one of the extra bits have a flat one side and phillips the other side so that I can "build" the functionaility I am used to without having to carry the bit pack?

What bits come with Ti that will fit the small bit driver and what are the combinations that fir the large bit driver?

I dont suppose the pliers are sprung as in the 800?

TIA

The pliers are not sprung. The small bit driver holds a tiny (eyeglass size) two sided screwdriver phillips/flat. That is the only bit that fits in the small driver. Another tool in place of this would have been a better choice as I personally find this useless. The bit that comes in the tool for the large driver is a #1 #2 combo phillips on one side and med sized slotted on the other side. As for the #1 #2 phillips combo I have not used it on a #1 only #2 and it works good. Only had my charge for a week but I do like it alot. Allthough I carry the extra bits in the pouch I doubt I will use them very much. For me the slotted phillips combo will cover 99% of my needs.

Hope this helps!
