Well I guess this question is for anyone who knows the answer.

I have a serious dilemma. I am a serious buyer for a pair of Tachyons, however I cannot place my order before the end of the year. I am still saving money for my wedding day which is in December. My fiancé and I must pay for the wedding ourselves because her beloved father is deceased and her mother has 3 minimum wage jobs and cannot afford to support our wedding. This has made life a bit more difficult for the past oh, 8 or 9 months. My question is, are the Tachyons going to be a production model that will still be around next year? I would be so disappointed if when I finally was able to spend my money on a pair of these they no longer make them. Mike, PLEASE tell me you plan on keeping these in production until I can get my hands on a pair, PLEASE!:(

7Cain, a pair of Tachyons? "His" and "Hers" perhaps? My advice is to hold off on the purchase until you can well afford the knives. Start off your marriage on solid footing. You will have exciting and fun experiences with your new partner. Heck, you might even realize that you really don't need no stinkin' balisong.

Although the Tachyon is a very desirable item, a caring and loving spouse is infinitely more important. That person should have priority over all of your resources--financial, physical, emotional, etc. Be a good husband (or wife, I don't know which) and maybe she/he will surprise you at your first anniversary with the then "big thing in balisongs." Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. :)

Edited for spelling.

well said Toothed.. start thigns off with good footing and others will follow.. I have no inside info but by just looking the Tachon advertising is goign strong and there have been no rumours of it selling out..

"Hunters seek what they [WANT].., Seekers hunt what they [NEED]"

Sounds like you've done an excellent job of "Seeking" -see above- :)

Don't let the "Hunter" in you take over now  ..., be happy with the gift you have found in your relationship and have a wonderful wedding! We'll find ya a couple of Tachyons when it makes sense. :)

Best wishes for you both!

I really appreciate all of your kind words, blessings, and encouragement!:D I do NOT want anything to go wrong with this relationship, this will be my first and ONLY wedding, and I have no intention of letting a chunk of steel and titanium get between us. Last night was our first visit with the Minister who will be joining us, I am happy to report that the steps he recommended to us are steps that we began taking long ago. Our engagement is more than a year strong now and we suspect that our union will only make the bond between us even stronger, by the way, did I mention that she is the one that suprised me with a new 42 for our anniversary! :D She had trouble coughing up the $120 for it, so I don't expect her to spend $400 on another pair. We both understand that as soon as we are married, this will be my first purchase. I just began to assume the worse since all of my money will be tied up until next year (damn Murphy's law).

Again, Thank you everyone for your blessing and kind words.
