Charlie, Who do you think you are? You knives are too easy on my wallet... Your slight forge finish is excellent as well as your overall fit and finish...Honestly I have no Idea who you think you are....

Lets see some...

My fav fighter.

I hope to have a contribution for this thread at some point:)

I really think you should do it sooner than later! I'm SO pleased with my blade that I put in another order(s). I just can't get over the value you get with these knives. I'm a new collector but when I compare it to others that I have from other established makers I don't feel much of a difference... I lie, there is a huge weight issue with Edmondson's blades. My wallet is still full of cash after I buy one of these that it feels like a Brick in my pocket.

EDIT:
I also have to admit that I'm a real Pain in the a** when I place an order. I usually have a very specific idea that I want translated into steel and I have went through a few makers because there wasn't the proper fit. The relationship that I got with Charlie is really genuine (we are on the same page). I'm sure many makers are like this but of the 5-6 I went through I'm only comfortable with three (and I'm on the list of those three).

I'm really a proponent of the: maker and customer "fit" issue. It's like marriage some work some don't

Charlie is "Good People". He is just a country boy that is as honest and humble as the day is long.

Charlie has a bright future ahead of him. He is still young enough to learn new tricks, and old enough to know in what direction he is headed.

He is a good man.

Robert

I've also been impressed by Charlie's manner, plus he gets props from Will Leavitt, and that means something.

Just so happens there are a couple of patterns heading Charlie's way;

Nice designs Lorien! These you should get started on. Your next WIP thread. ;) seriously I do like. Not sure of the choil notch on the big one.

Petah, great thread. Enjoyed seeing C.Edmondson's work.

Thank you guys very much for the nice comments, I have been totally consumed by this knife making obsession for over a year and a half, Not much I enjoy more than forging,making knives and hope to be able to get better and learn more everyday, Thanks for everyones help and thanks for the kind words,Charlie

2knife: So many established makers give him a nod of approval which speaks volumes. So, I thought he should get some more recognition than just in the for-sale forum. I want to see more blades that are hiding out there. Also, I know there are many I haven't seen pictures of... maybe it's time to start up a web site?

Charlie makes damn fine knives at realistic prices. I now have a few of Charlies knives both in my collection and as users. I've found him to be very honest and trutworthy guy and true to his word. I now consider him to be a friend. Keep up the good work Charlie and those knives coming.
