Craig, you posted pictures of this oddball with no explanation..
... you need to step up and tell us more...

Maybe it's a miniature ice axe, but the handle wouldn't be too comfortable. Actually it's more like a miniature piton hammer, but I don't think those get used much, anymore/

Come on guys, you've all seen an anvil push dagger before!

That is very cool, are you going to set the blade into a piece of log?

JB

Here is the inspriation behind Craigs dagger in the block idea.
A long story about how I came about this dagger in the block which Craig (DOGPOUND) and Makael played a big role in and to whom I owe a great big thank you to.
5-6 years ago I purchased a collection of 143 knives from a retired 30+ year Buck employee for next to nothing and part of that collection was this dagger in a block of wood.
That collection is what started me on collecting Buck Knives. I gave the dagger as a gift not knowing it's value or desirability as a collectable to someone who saw it as having special meaning to them. A few years passed and than
not too long ago pictures of the dagger were posted here on the forum by Craigs good friend Makael. I contacted Makael and mentioned to him that the dagger was originally mine and that I was a bit disappointed
that the dagger I gave away as a gift is now being sold. He mentioned it to me that Craig now had the dagger. I than got ahold of Craig and told him if it was going to be sold
I would like to get it back so please let me know what he needed to have for it. Next thing I knew it was back in my hands and it didn't cost me a thing.
My hats off to you two Makael and Craig as well as others who were part of getting this dagger back to me. A big thank you to you guys. Great people for sure.

Dagger stamped "Buck Custom USA"
Drawing of the dagger and block found on the BCCI website.

Great story for sure...an unusual 'knife'...glad it back to you.

Always good to hear of the ones that do good for/to others and get recognition for it. Kudos again for Craig and Mike. Preston

There were more individuals that helped in getting the dagger back in my hands but I do not want to name names.
It now sits next to my computer on my desk.

Post pictures of yours once it is done Craig. Super cool for sure.
