I've come to accept that I'm never going to see my seax.* Oh well, leaves more room on the shelf for the soon-to-arrive Folly. ;)

Does anyone know if Rio Jim ever got his knife? :(




*I don't mean "never see it again." I never saw it at all: When I bought it last Fall, it went straight to Ferrous from Bill & Yangdu for etching.
 
Rio, did you get the Pappy kuk? I know that it made it to pherous 'cuz I enquired after I sent it to him for etching.

I do not believe Rio ever got the Pappy blade. I am not happy with this state of affairs. I don't wish to add 'negative energy', nor throw the baby out with the bath water, but this is ridiculous and has gone on too long. That is my opinion as a private individual, not as a 'mod'. I am hoping this delinquency is resolved.

I sure am sorry for every one involved. It hurts me a little since I was instrumental in the drive for Pappy's family after his death. I know Rio Jim is Ok with it, but it sure is not a good thing any way you look at it.

I'm sure many of you know how I feel about anyone accepting money for a job and not doing the job, as what happened to Donut's Rule. There are things that happen in Life that are tough, and I'm not writing Ferrous off, but I sure aint happy either.

My sentiments echo Donuts -- right now I'm looking toward that Folly. Besides I just picked up my new toy, a custom Skean-Dhu (got the idea for it in the Cantina).:D I'm just happy if my contribution went to Pappy's family. Everyone involved meant well, and it was a noble cause, whether or not I ever get the khuk. I wish no pressure or stress on Ferrous, from or for me. Life throws more than enough at us as it is. Situations change.
 
I got to meet Rio Jim at the SWKK...he's a very nice guy...and obviously much wiser than I.
