Caly 3 and UKPK

I just received a NIB Caly 3 (Black G10) in the mail today and I am very impressed with the feel, fit and finish and overall quality of this knife. It is almost identical to the UKPK (Black G10) with the icing of a lock blade and steel liners. I like the lighter weight of the UKPK, but the lock is a nice edition.

I am not sure why Spyderco discontinued these models, but I am delighted to have gotten my hands on them.

They're essentially two versions of the same knife, one with a lock and the other without it. I do like the Caly 3 a lot and carry it often. It has a size that works very well for me and carries well without a clip.

They got discontinued because they are changing the grinds. UKPK's will still be around just FFG now.
