Just got my Caly 3.

Question: One side is the Spydie logo, other side of blade is funky symbol.

What is the symbol?

It's the logo of Sal Glesser, Spyderco's founder and #1 designer. Means the Caly 3 is one of his many designs.

I always thought it was a really cool looking symbol - I wish all Spydies came with it. :thumbup:

Yep you will notice on a handful of spydies that there is the designers signature engraved on the blade.
