Caly. Wow!

After lurking here a while, I thought I'd give the Caly (G10, PE) a try. My package from knifeworks.com arrived today, and wow.

This is the nicest, smoothest, sharpest production knife I have. Fit and finish is awesome. The lockup is tight and the blade is ridiculously sharp. It's light and thin (I've removed the clip) and feels great in my hand. For the price, it beats anything I've seen!

It won't get any heavy use as an EDC, but as a sleek, right-sized blade, I can see carrying this guy for a long time.

A Delica 2 in stainless was one of my first quality knives. I've always loved the Delica and have three now. I picked up a CF Kopa recently to try something new, and like it a lot too. But nothing seems to stack up to the Caly! :thumbup:

Yeah i just got the cf version and i really like it. So smooth it just won't stay shut.

As impressed as I am with the G10 version, is a CF version that much better?? Do I need another "perfect" knife?

they only disco'd one of them, there is still going to be a caly 3. for the time being at least.

That little blade is so impressive, Its pretty solidly established itself as my goto urban edc for a while now. I've never had a blade that size fit so nicely in my hand

Without questions Caly3 is the great knife. I EDC mine for more than three years and absolutely love it. IMHO it is one of the best production EDCs ever made, of cause in this price range.

I never had a thing for CF variant. I do not like the look of uneven laminated lines and on my CF Caly3 it is terrible.
