I grabbed one of these on the recommendations I read here. It took a while, but has grown on me, great cutter! Ok, this is probably a dumb question but, how do you all grab this knife?
I find if I have my thumb right behind the spyderhole, and my Index finger on the choil and the first cutout of the handle, it feels best, but my finger is awful close to that VERY sharp blade. If I move my index finger BACK, behind that first notch, it feels off-balance, but safer :)

I use the choil...

I even try to use the non-existant choil(as in there is nothing there) on my endura and find myself REALLY close to the edge.

Definitely use the choil. That's how this knife was meant to be used. Remember, it's a civil EDC, meant for everyday cutting. Don't try to stab through oil drums or kill ninjas with it, and you shouldn't have any problems with the grip. God knows I haven't. :)

In saber grip, I use the choil. In hammer grip, I ignore the choil. I drag the index finger a bit backwards and keep it right over the cusp in the handles.

Hi guys, I just picked up one today and it is a great little knife. So far I'm using the choil in either hammer grip or saber, it's very comfortable both ways for me. Take care, Heath
