Calypso Jr. How many do you own?

After reading what a great little knife the Caly is here on BF, I was just wondering how many Jrs. folks here have in their collection? I'm considering getting a few myself since it's discontinued and selling for a nice price at Spyderco's website but feel kind of... well, strange for wanting to own numerous copies of the same knife. I was always of the one-knife-per-model mentality until I was bitten by a Spyder.
 
Hey, save one for me. I've been thinking about this little bugger also. If this was available in a left handed model, I would be all up ons.

I own two CJ Liteweights. One in the original black color and the other in grey. I expect to get a burgundy colored one when they come out. My son also owns a grey one.
 
I just have 1 in black. It's pretty beat-up now though, so I may have to get a new one soon. I've used it, on occasion, to cut skateboard grip tape, which is really abrasive. Thankfully, the blade is easy to sharpen!

For Christmas, I bought my brother in law a grey handled CJL and he likes it. I have to admit that I was tempted to keep it for myself!

If and when the burgundy ones come out, I'll be all over it. :)
 
Eight. One older black model and 7 newer gray models. A Calypso, jr. is my EDC at work. I have given 2 away to friends already. I think it is the best small Spyderco (I carried a carbon fiber dragonfly for 5 years).

The Manix is a calypso on steroids. I think it is their best large folder.
 
I have four. Two lightweights and two micartas, all serrated. I've also given a couple of micarta juniors away as gifts.

Hopefully the new run will be available with teeth. :D
 
haven't heard about a new maroon one....anyone have an ETA on it??

have 2 gray ones :)
 
The new run in burgundy will feature the super Japanese ZDP-189 high carbon steel. Fantastic edge holding is the rumor. Less than six months out from what I understand. A small run of Delicas with this new steel is also on the way.

You could add the UK Penknife to that as well. A very similar profile and feel, just with a different "lock" and G10 scales.
 
I have 2 Calypso's, 2 Calypso Jr.'s, 2 calypso Jr LWT's, and a grey one..
 
Just one. I keep giving them as gifts, and even sold my last grey one, since the one I've been using for however long isn't going to wear out anytime soon. Kind of regret not having a spare any more, but I guess that'll get fixed when the ZDP-189 version comes out.
Best folder out there for the money, IMO.
 
I have three, but they are all serrated, and I would love a plain edge version.
 
I only have the large Calypso with the fully serrated blade (shown above). This is my most carried knife. I also compliment that with a Custon small fixed blade utility. One knife can't do it all!

That thing is a chainsaw!!

Me too! Gave them to all my groomsmen, to start.

I joke that I'm one of the best Calypso Jr salesmen -- can't imagine how many times I've recommended that knife, and how many times I see a follow-up in a thread saying that the person actually bought one and loves it.

thanks to GB, I have 2 - one safe queen, the other's my EDC. oh, I got the Spydie UK pen knife #049 too :D
 
Spyken is a great salesman for the Caly too! Actually, the entire board is, never seen anyone who brought it and hated it
