Is the VG-10 Calpyso Jr, Lightweight due to hit the markets anytime soon? I'm not sure what Spyderco's product cycle is like.

And what are the general advantages of VG-10 over other steels like ATS-55, AUS-8 and ATS-34?

Trying to decide whether to wait for this or just go with the micarta version (tho I'm sure both are good enough for my light use).
