I have benn carrying the Calypso Jr for a few monthes and I love the way it cuts but I really wanted somthing a bit bigger with a nicer handle. I got the Manix. Awesome knife same great blade only bigger...nicer handle. I thought it was great, but I soon began to realize that the knife was just a bit too big. The blade is smaller then knives I've had for long periods of time in the past (BM710 etc) but it was just too big in pocket and too heavy. I saw the para and thought that my search was over! But when I got it I noticed that the blade shape is different...Doh! and the handle is bigger then the blade which I personally don't like.

Don't get me wrong, these are all great knives, but.....well I guess I want a custom knife for around 100 bucks. I know I'm being picky, but I can't help myself I'm a Knut I guess.

Here's my dream knife:
Flat ground leaf shaped blade about 3.5 inches long S30V steel.
TIP DOWN CARRY.
Anything but a liner lock!
Even handle to blade ratio.

Does this exist? Sal, will this exist? :D

Maybe they could make a limited run of the Lum Chinese in S30V with CF scales, then license the Axis lock from Benchmade just once????

J/K

Well...didn't Benchamde once license the SPyerhole from Spydie?

Hmm, maybe Sal could call Les...

i don't like when the handle is larger than the blade either..it seems too bulky..the impala is not a bad size blade to handle ratio in my opinion..gotta get the gut hook though..

Am I the only one that noticed that there are three threads on this topic now....SHeesh
