i just bought one of these brand new in box . vg10 , fully serrated , in the old white spyderco box. is this a good knife? are they rare? are they collectable?
 
its not staying in the box , i`m going to play with it/maybe even use it , i was just wondering . i buy all my knives to carry for self defense (if i carry them at all being a collector) i occasionally do need to cut things , though.

rare, not really. Maybe more if it's micarta.
Good. Yup, pocket scalpel
collectable. IMHO no. I have not see a demand for them. I could be wrong since I don't have to look for one.

yeah i figured it wasn`t really all that rare. but i do love the look and feel of this knife.
