Cleaning out an old storage closet at work and in an old chest, found 2 leather strops. Nobody else even knew what they were. When I saw them in the bottom of the chest, I was already thinking that if it was leather, it would make a nice strop. But they turned out to be actual strops. One says sharpen on one side and the other side says fine.
The other strop says Shumate genuine strop and Shumate cutlery and they both have a loop to hang them from the wall..................the wife will be proud of that! Both look to be in good shape, but I'll probably put some leather conditioner on them. Anyone have any info on how old they could be?
