Came across these Axe heads at family camp.

Probably the 2 best know Canadian makers. Good axes. The Black Prince is equivalent to a Flint Edge but less common. The Walters tend to have notquite as fine of finish as a True Temper Black Prince but still a very nice axe and in great shape. I’d be interested in purchasing either or both of them.

Thanks for the info! Not sure if I want to sell them at the moment, but maybe. I might dig a Little deeper in the shed to see what else is in there axe or knife related, these where just inside the door on a shelf.

Yeah I'm with Gary on that. That kind of luck evades me for some reason?
Very nice hatchets man! Congrats on your finds! Enjoy it because it probably will not happen again! Haha.
If you do decide to sell any man I'd be interested in this Welland Vale side hatchet!

The hand crank grinder is sometimes called a railroad grinder. The larger the main gear the better the unit. 6" gears were 'homeowner' models. 8 or 10 gears were for professional or industrial use.

Thank you for all the info, I can't wait to get handles and build up some of these. There are still more with handles and I will try a take some photo's this weekend.
