I've been using japanese camelia oil on my cocobolo Mnandi on both wood and damascus blade with good results. It seems to penetrate the wood real well. It's my EDC knife so it gets rinsed a lot after cutting my apple a day. I also use Renaissance wax, but it does not penetrate the wood as well.

I,m curious to know if anyone else uses it and what are your thoughts

It may look nice no doubt, but I thought the wood was stabilized. How can oil penetrate it?

There are a few inlays that are not stabilized and I believe that Cocobolo is one of them.

Cocobolo is super tough and has more natural oils than some woods, which is why its not stabilized. I don't think camelia oil would hurt it, but maybe darken it.
