Very nice work, Nathan, both with the camera and with the knife. I like that grind. Very nice work.

I am still learning the camera thing, the picture was much clearer
before I down sized it to post.I guess I still have alot to learn about The photo end of things
:)

Nice photo Nathan,

Really nice!

One suggestion, Your light source is cool (coming opposite the camera). Try ....

No, forget what I was going to say - the lighting fits the knife.

I set it up like that,I wanted it kinda a different looking picture,Good old black shirt and the light coming in from the
back:D
Roger, still some belly on it:) I am using this knife to learn him
to take pictures,I still have alot to learn about knife mkaing and taking photos;)

Nathan,

For fun, get a large piece of white cardbord (paint it or tape on white paper, ...). Then cut a hole in it for the camera lens.

Now when you have backlight you'll get some reflection to fill in the shadows, a bit. You can angle the cardboard for the best effect.

Just an idea,

sounds interesting,I like to play with things
I will give that a go and see what comes out of it
anyting out side the box is what I am looking for.
My next couple shots I am going to use a colored light
to cast some light to see what it looks like.:D
