I've seen several of these sold on eBay recently for ungodly prices.
Are they that scarce that their value is close to $100 ?
I haven't seen much price appreciation on their regular products, except the Becker's.

I would say it's because everyone wants to get a piece of the pie before it's all gone. I have saw some of the knives I collect, go for double or more than what they were selling for.

I could not help to notice the similarity to my fathers Buck 301
Did Camillus make the buck knifes as well ??

Phil,

Those Buck knives were made by Camillus, you are correct.

The search on this forum timed out , I did not see Camillus on the Buck forum.
Glad I was not seeing things RE the similarity. Thats at least 4 camillus knifes
in the familly :)
Sorry to digress the thread :o

Camillus made the 300 series (#301, #303, #305, etc.) for Buck Knives.

Buck was one of Camillus' largest customers.

Camillus had a series of manufacturing photos taken for the "mini" catalog and many Buck knives were shown. The photos were retouched to disguise the slant bolsters.
