Camillus #2000

Purchased a CamilluS 2000 fixed blade sheath knife. Blade approx. 4.25", and 8.875" oal. Have not been able to find any information regarding the steel. Not an expensive knife but has a nice shape and seems to be well made. Nice leather sheath that covers most of the handle, with an aluminum insert which grips the back of the handle and spine of blade. Wondering if it's a 440A or something a bit higher up on the materials list.

One of the high country hunter series. There are five in the series, the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.
440 stainless with a kevlar reinforced zytel handle.

Nice set of knives;some unusual shapes. High Country Hunter made of 440. Haven't been able to locate much info about them but like the 2000 and the sheath.
