Does anyone here know what blade steel was used on the Camillus 26,
a large folder, same pattern as the Schrade Old Timer 25OT?
My question also applies to the Camillus 6, same pattern as the
Schrade Old Timer 125, my EDC for decades.
The Schrade knives (older ones from Walden NY USA) are a nice and
easy to sharpen carbon knife steel, I think it's 1095.
I am not familiar with the steel Camillus used on these same patterns.
From a photo, it looks like a stainless alloy, but a photo is not much
to go on. If someone knows, or knows where I can find the answer,
I'd like to hear from you. Thanks.
